The Jones that beat Ruiz, versus the Toney that dominated an old Holyfield... Does Jones still have enough in him to repeat what he did at middleweight or is Toney just too much at heavyweight?

Jones a little unproven at heavyweight but Toney definitely had his fair share of fights there
Roy would still probably have his number though... he thoroughly dominated him.. i just question if he could produce a KD at heavyweight.. probably not
since Toney was clowning when jones knocked him down and was wide open.
I think jones would outbox ruiz at heavy

Same way I see it, although Toney has a clear weight advantage and seemed alot more comfortable than Jones as a heavy imo... even though Jones only went up for like 1 fight.

Tough for RJ but I think he'd win it by a close unanimous decision. Although i'm never good at predicting fights, so never take my opinion seriously.

Toney still wouldnt be able to get close enough to Jones. He was a flat footed shuffler, and Jones was just too quick for him to get set and punch back. He would have troubled Toney at any weight. Toney would probably have had a better chance against heavyweight Jones at 168 pounds! At least he would be quicker.

Yes, I think Roy would trouble Jimmy at any weight. Being that Toney is somewhat inconsistent in his work, Jones takes a comfortable decision.
