I'll watch it I guess just to pass the time in between real fights... If Jones intends to fight Taylor and further get in the way of a possible Taylor/Kessler match I can only hope and pray Lacy somehow catches Jones with a right hand and retires him for good... Not that I have very much faith in Kessler to make anything (at all, period) happen...

Yeah but it could end up paying well for Lacy .Plus he just responded to Jones on the site that talks boxing and he would be willing to meet him at 175 .

I think Roy can make 168...He weighed in at 169.5 for his fight with Tito..I think he can hit 167 actually...ne thing below 167 and he's gonna be drained...

I'd really like to give Roy more credit than to think he's trying to prove something by beating Calzaghe leftovers "more convincingly" than Joe did. That would be pretty pathetic. Well, at the Sheika/shot Lacy level, anyway (Kessler/Bhop would be different stories, of course - beating them would mean something; it wouldn't mean anything vis a vis Joe, but would be significant nonetheless).

I suppose a Taylor/Jones fight could sell with a "last chance for each" angle. If Lacy likes 175, all the better for Roy. But if he's trying to prove something (presumably he is, though he just may enjoy the camps and the paydays), he probably shouldn't spend too much time fighting gatekeepers. The sand is low on the hourglass, if not already out.

It is a perfect fight for Roy IMO.
