Do i think roy would beat him? Its possible his speed an reflexes is something else.
Do i think spinks is the goat at lhw, pretty close to it although i think ezzard would beat him. Just my opinion.

I hear what ur saying all valid points, but just for the sake of debate all those fighters u mentioned were no roy jones. He made mistakes and would get away with it just for the simple fact that his reflexes are anaimalistic. Now ti counter argue my point he really didnt fight anybody that could test him at 175. But there alsi wasnt really anybody that could despite all the euro nut huggers say about dariouz or however its spelled. Its real tough to bet on a k.o. Of a prime roy since he was never hit until he had no legs.i think the reach could play apart but i think roy did a fantastic job of making fighter give up there reach by making them chase an just as much as spinks could end a fight so could roy. Especially if ur coming at him. Good fight

what Sexy Sergio did to Paul Williams he would have done to Glass Jaw Roy. Jones always had issues with Southpaws. Martinez would shatter that Glass Jaw all over the place. Brutally and Embarrassingly.

 

Good post, I'd have to agree to disagree. Spinks tends to telegraph his punches and against a much quicker RJJ, I can't see Spinks outpointing him. Spinks will have to aggressively work for the KO, and that will give RJJ a lot of openings.

But for sure, this would have been one of the best fights of the century, along with Qawi.

 

Remind me who RJJ beat at 160lbs? A green bhop? Percy "no mercy" harris?

Roy Jones Jr. Too much talent, better movement, faster, harder puncher, better skill set. And this is coming from a Maravilla fan!
