Roy Jones vs Marco Huck?!!

Dont know man would love if Jones won though, he'd go up a few notches with me as an atg. Havent watched much of Huck but Jones isnt totally done yet I dont think

This will be a good fight. Hopefully Jones can beat this Williams guy and we can see it.

The Roy that beat Ruiz would have a great shot, but he is nowhere near that fighter anymore.

Isnt Huck the guy who cost ESB vcash users millions by not throwing a single punch until rd 4 of his fights.

He was also stopped by USS Cunningham.

I wouldnt be surprised if Huck found a way to lose to RJJ.

He just refuses to fight until the 5th.

Down 4 on the cards, he could essentially get countered and potshotted and lose.

 

I would prefer Jones move back up to Heavyweight and get a fight with Wilder or Wlad. But I will take a Huck fight he has a chance to get a belt in a 5th division and he has already been KOed several times so it really doesn't hurt his legacy as far as that goes. But to answer your question I don't really want to see Jones KOed I just wish we got these types of fights from 1994-2004ish or so. Jones has nothing to lose in a situation like this he will get a good payday that he needs and a chance to win a Cruiserweight belt (something he could have already done had he tried years ago)

 

If he were to win a major belt at CW at his current state, would that enhance his legacy in your opinion?

 

Sure it would be a huge achievement. The guy has been written off as totally shot and to beat a capable guy like Huck at this stage would prove a lot more than some of his earlier wins in my opinon.

 

Would it prove to you that prime Jones may have had a better chance than you give him against some hard hitters?

 

Too many variables/circumstances to really say. This would be a huge feather in Roy's cap if he were to win.

While Roy has an awful Chin I would much rather see him get a shot at Huck. There are very few fighters I actually 'root' for to get KOed. Jones isn't one of those guys.
