Roy Jones vs Mike Tyson 2003?

I don't remember it at all. I do remember HBO hyping RJJ/Lewis and I remember a commercial with RJJ wearing a crown and Lennox playing chess. I think it was well before 2003 though

 

Call me crazy, but i think Roy Jones would've won this fight in '03. Mike was totally shot by then and Roy would've circled and potshotted en route to a decision.

Oh, and yeah the fight was pretty much made. Roy was guarenteed something like 35 mill, but he foolishly went back down to light heavy.

 

was that in 03? i hought it was much earlier?
Jones had a chance against that version of Tyson.

Jones has a chance of being killed.

Imagine if Glenn Johnson in 04' can brutally ktfo of Jones, bounce his head off the canvass and lay him out for several minutes. Imagine what Tyson would do. You are ****in fools jones has no business at HW with a glass chin and less speed at the higher weight.

Thats a tough one, Roy had bulked up perfectly for Ruiz and looked amazing. I think Roy was looking for that fight as his retirement party, there was a ton of money on the table. Dont know why it never happened but I honestly believe Roy would have been winning the fight BUT Tyson would have eventually caught him clean and brutally ko'd Roy, thats how I see it anyway. Its a crazy "what if".......

 

Ruiz ****in sucks and losses to middleweights all the time. All Ruiz can do is jab and grab.

 

If it was 2003, it seems pretty simple to me, if and it's quite a big if, Roy gets through the first 3-4 rounds, then he wins comfortably.
