moorer went 12 rounds with holyfield and made him look amateurish.

bowe was not a very good hw, he had issues and stil beat holyfield 2/3

lewis made holyfield look ****, and im not even gonna mention his 3 wars with ruiz

 

Ali wins. Both Jones and Ali relied on footwork and handspeed to get out of the way of opponents.

Ali had a long jab, fast hands, and great footwork. He's a nightmare match up for Roy who would be forced to work his way inside.

On top of that Ali had a significant size advantage and was incredibly intelligent and resilient.

I put maybe because it's not a huge difference in speed we are talking about here. It's not enough of a difference where I think it would be fight changing. Tyson had faster hands than Holyfield along with more power and he got knocked out.

 

moorer was good b ut not on ali's level, nowhere near, ho got kayoed by foreman over a decade after ali put foreman to sleep.

Ali is a s fast as jones plus a HW.

Moorer won the title at LHW with a 100% knock out rate. He then won and unified the titles at HW beating Holyfield convincingly. He is a legit ATG, you don't beat the people hes beaten in the way hes beaten them and win titles in multiple weightclasses without being an ATG. Give the man his credit. Lewis is an ATG so is Moorer.

 

I never said Moorer could beat Ali, I said Holyfield would beat Ali and Moorer would beat Jones and that Jones could beat Ali. This is about styles.

The list of guys Moorer beat at 175 is dubious to say the least, the WBO title is still pretty shady today, in the 80's and 90's it was a total joke. Also his win over Holyfield was far from "convincing", as a matter of fact is was literaly one point away from being a draw and many people had Holyfield winning like Harold Letterman.

 

Moorer is still embarrassed about the Foreman fight. Moorer was a good fighter, but it is hard for me to imagine a prime ATG getting knocked out by a retired 45 year old ex-champ.:yep
