No he was offered 3 million, but wanted 7 million.

My bad, my post was horribly written, and when I read it was contextually false the way I wrote it.

    I edited it. Sorry.

prime benn and prime mcclellan would have shattered jones' chin. instead he cherry picked and kept the wool pulled over america's eyes for another 10 years.

Jones didn't cherry pick, he beat people who were champs in his weight division, some guys who were good fighters. So you have a wool pulled over your eyes.

Just one of those things that didnt come off, I dont think Jones was ducking Benn and I know Benn would fight anybody, he wasnt a ducker. No doubt Don King was involved as suggested.

Incidentally, people saying Benn and McClellan would tear off a prime Jones head obviously werent around at the time a prime Jones was fighting, he would have taken them both apart without too much stress. And Benn's my favourite fighter.

Jones jr is one of the most overated fighters ever. He knew Nigel Benn , pre McClellan fight, would have kicked his ass. The Benn-McClellan tragic result really ended both careers. Nigel was never the same fighter afterwards & Geralds devastating injuries ended his. Jones ducked all his legit opponents & instead fought the Glen Kellys & Bryant Brannons of this world. First tim he met a legit opponent >>>> KO
Same thing is going to happen to Mayfeather Duck

I'm a huge fan of both fighters but to say Benn would have beaten Roy is way out there.

Lets put it this way: did Benn have trouble with Malinga? Malinga is a poor man's kid's version of RJ.

James Toney, Virgil Hill and a heavyweight John Ruiz werent legit opponents then? Also if the first time he met a legit opponent was a KO what happened in the previous fight? Nice usage of a pun there to describe Mayweather, a career working as a headline conjurer for The Sun awaits. God why do I come into the general?
