Roy Jones vs. Schmeling

I type what I want in the efforts to discredit Roy. But that leaping left hook he did would get countered.

 

Schmeling hadn't yet scored any wins in the states, he was a European level fighter then, a green version yet.
His performance against Baer and Louis redeems any questions about his chin.

 

He was stopped because Louis smashed his spinal structure, otherwise Schmeling was still trying to get up from bombs landing square on his chin. He never went out, he was getting pummeled and obviously defenseless so they stopped the fight. No fighter with a broken back would survive that. Let's put Roy Jones in the same circumstances...
