Hell, Liston would probably even hurt Jones some during referee's instructions before the bell by just glaring at him.

Put Jones in Ali's place, and there ya have it. Liston would look like he had cement in his shoes.

Jones would've done to Liston what Liston did to Patterson.

Well since noone else is biting, it was a joke. I have done this in every single "RJJ vs Insert great Heavyweight" thread, and you guys still haven't caught on.

Jones becomes first black human Satellite in space, Liston wins by ko, promoter of fight charged with 187.

    Yup.

And if Jones were forced at gunpoint to enter the ring, it's a track meet until Liston bombs him. 4 rounds max.

Well, I guess I've had done to me (humor-wise, that is), what was done to Patterson by Liston, and what would be done to Jones by Liston, by being ko'ed by that joke of yours. Maybe, by way of a possible explanation, you're doing a parody of all Roy Jones nut-huggers by making him the winner of every proposed matchup involving him, right? (hopefully).....okay......that's what I hope it is, since more times than not, you make some pretty good points in your posts, and I just know somehow that you wouldn't pick Jones to win this post any more than you would pick say, Vinny Pazienza to beat a prime Thomas Hearns, by way of a comparison.

I'm guessing you missed my last post.

I do this not to poke fun at Jones fans, but rather Jones haters for starting these types of ridiculous threads, just to see if I can't anger them.

How different would the posts on this thread be if Jones retired after beating Ruiz?

Maybe Jones might break Liston's other jaw with Liston laughing so hard at the "Penn Relays" before his very eyes ala the Marty Marshall fight.

Liston KO early. Roy matching well against any of the great heavyweights is something that wont happen. Do not be fooled by the ruiz fight, John Ruiz was average at best, not only that but he didn't know how to fight tall against the smaller opponent and bring pressure. Any of the greats (even Marciano) would have thier way with the smaller Jones.

Liston would suprisingly find the mark and easily with his long left jab, then go down stairs and soften Roy up to the body. Roy would land a few quick counter shots, but they would have no effect on Liston. In about round 3, i see Liston eventually landing that huge right hands and knocking Roy uncouncious.
