    1. Roy vs Toney from the Holyfield fight
    2. Which is the better achievement: Roy winning the HW belt or Toney's entire run at HW and how would Roy do against Toney's opposition at HW?

RJJ was still probably too fast for Toney. Good fight but Roy beats him again.

Toney just wasn't in the shape to track Roy down.

    2. I think Toney's run of beating and being extremely competitive with top 10 heavyweights is more impressive than Roy's win over Ruiz. I thought he won the first Peter fight, but lost the first Rahman fight. It did a lot for his legacy.

    1. Jones wide UD, easier than the first time because Toney slowed more
    2. Toney, but Jones was better at HW and guess what Holyfield turned down a Jones fight to face Toney

    Jones wins again.

His footwork was superior to Toney's, and his Brain competes better with James' than people realise. Jones was an incredibly smart fighter.

I'd be intrested to see if Jones still uses that jab at HW which was so prominent in the Ruiz fight.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I would have to say yes.

Ruiz was a beltholder when Jones beat him, and was at the absolute pinacle of his resume/standing.

Holyfield was on the way down, and was already seen as having taken a tumble. In the final analysis he might have had more left than people thought.

So I think we have to credit Jones with the better win.

Roy would still be a step ahead due to his quickness. Gutted roy went back to 175, he shouldve stayed at Heavy and rattled off a few more wins.
