Roy Jones vs Winky Wright

I think a fighter with Handspeed always gives Bernard problems, hence losses to Taylor an Joe.

Roys handspeed Peak was unequaled.


I think the fight woul dbe similar their 1st encounter, considering Hopkins was green as you say (so was JoneS), amazing how easy Jones won it considering he fought with one hand.

I think Jones beats Hopkins a wide UD even a few years down the line. 116-111

 

Personally i think Roy would abolutely dominate Winky something like 118-110. Winky doesnt have the foot speed to keep up with Roy or the power to get Roys respect. The only advntage Winky would have agaianst Roy is workrate, which i feel will be nullified by Roys footspeed and movement.

 

I'm gonna wait to see how Winky looks saturday night.

 

When both were at their best at mw, I think this would be a pretty interesting fight, I am a big Winky fan, but ultimately I can't see any other outcome than a Jones UD. His speed negates Winky's jab, and he will take a competitive but clear UD.

Right now, Winky wins easily. He is no Omar Sheika.

 

Hopkins has not had a typical career. 29 was early in Hopkins' development.

 

If this fight was mentioned in ROys prime, everyone woul dhave said another hand picked opponent no matter how good winky is.

Now Jones is past his prime people forget how good he was @ his peak.

 

Roy would KILL Winky Wright.......That peak a boo would be no good with a Prime Roy with all that speedatsch
