Nah The Trinidad fight played exactly as I thought it would ..What I like is how he has slowly gained some confidence back ..People want to knock his fighst w/Henshaw and Amaju but if that had been anyone else they would be cheered !

Pavlik is only a pure puncher at 160 what will he do at 175 when he can't knock him out ??Please tell me ??Out box Jones ??

 

Agreed, But would be able to defend against Roy's speed he can't even do it against Taylor.

 

I would favor either Taylor or Pavlik over Jones at this stage in his career.

I think it's more realistic if Taylor manages to win, only because I feel Bob Arum still wants Pavlik to stay at 160 for at least 2 more fights after. On the other hand, Dibella, Taylor's promoter has a nice history with Jones and such a fight could set up a huge fight by the end of 2008, with the winner of Hopkins vs Calzaghe.

I would like to see this fight happen even better if Jones can go down to supermiddle. I dont see the problem both fighters have a goodwork rate which could bring out the best in Jones or finish him but skill wise I do not see Pavlik or Taylor having to much skill or speed for jones. I really want to see if Jones can do it one more time.

 

I'd like to see this, then if he wins take on the winner of Hopkins/Calzaghe.

Jones would have a good chance against either Taylor or Pavlik.
