Roy Jones was a great athlete in his prime, but SRR would have torn him to shreds

I would say that rjj was a shadow of himself, after he got koed by Tarver.

Based on what I've seen, and assuming that Robinson would have access to the same training techniques, supplements, etc. that are available to modern fighters, I see it as about a 50/50 fight. I'm no expert on Ray Robinson though.

No way, I saw a change in Roy before he got knocked out by Tarver... His body has since looked frail and you could see it in his face when he was walking into the ring in the first Tarver fight. No one can make me believe other wise.

As soon as he moved up?

He had 5/6 fights before he fought DeValle and had to move back down from HW to lose to Tarver.

I have no problem believing Jones was drained for that fight, which he won but I just dont buy the explanation that he has suffered permanently from the weight loss. A issue which has been completely blown out of proportion

After he got koed by Tarver he became gun shy, you can see this in Tarver III and Johnson

Roy was roided for the Hall fight and most probably used roids to move up to hw. How can a fighter put on 14 lbs of muscle in 6 weeks naturally?

He has looked 10 years older to me ever since he dropped from heavyweight. Compare the way he looked when he fought Ruiz, and the way he looked in Jones Tarver II.

He was already 34 years old, I even noticed him slowing slightly before losing the weight. The permanent damage was that it sped up the process, and made him a fighter that grew old overnight.

Fighters grow old overnight that aren't 34 and dropping large amounts of muscle in a short time period. Why can't Roy?

Roy wasnt at his peak at 160. He lost 4 rounds to hopkins who also wasnt at his peak. Is it inconceivable for SRR to defeat him? Roy showed in the hopkins fight that he didnt like being pressed against the ropes which we seen again in Tarver 1 and his last fight. It is something that has happened rarely in his career but at every time he shows he doesnt like it. If SRR can drive him to the ropes he can certainly do well with RJJ and his power and speed can also cause him problems.

I have since heard that he tested positive for andro which he claims the ripped fuel was contaminated with. I have read articles stating a lot of supplements still were found to have andro in them after the ban. If this is what really happened then its no big deal in my opinion

In a Roy Jones interview, give me a couple of days and I will get back to you with a link if I can find it again.
