well in fairness to Roy, at that moment it did seem like Bradley was causing damage and Prov wasn't causing as much damage as he was in the first two rounds. At that point Prov had a very bad cut on his eye and it did seem like it kinda made him a little more timid. then the next round Prov hurt Bradley but it took a concerted effort, and really that was made possible by a change of strategy from Bradley in the 12th round compared to the 11th round. (trying to outbox early in the 12th as opposed to brawling in the 11th)
Exactly. Roy made poignant comments all night. I disagreed in the 11th when he said he couldn't hurt him, but I think his point was that the punches weren't having quite the same effect, and that was true. As the fight wore on and he tired, Ruslan's pop was inconsistent.
I found it funny when Roy kept saying that Timmy was hurting Rusian, and I wasn't seeing it. Bradley landed flush shots that weren't moving the Russian. He did get Provo to step back when he went to the body, but not one time did I see Provo wobble.
you shoulda heard the boxnation commentator, Bradley and Ruslan were fighting on the inside both exchanging punches but Ruslans harder, but Bradley throwing more then the commentator goes "Bradleys completely outboxing him here", never knew it was outboxing when your leaning on eachother both throwing punches
The guys on Boxnation love Bradley. I remember watching the Bradley-Holt fight on Boxnation. Too much hero-worship. Jones was shameful tonight, though. He was clearly biased and pumped Timmy up every chance he got. :-(
I'm thinking maybe *******s mad that Jones doesn't hate Bradley I'm watching this fight and there is nothing wrong with Jones typical ******* whining
He did the same thing in pacquiao fight. "Pacquiao not gonna get knocked Down again" and then a few minutes later Pacquiao almost died. But I actually like Roy. He notices subtle things. Like in the same fight when he corrected Merchant who said Pacquiao and Marquez were going toe to toe. Roy chimed in "this is step back toe to toe" in reference to he fact that Marquez never completely held his ground but too one step back in almost all the exchanges to create room to counter.
Jones was claiming that Rahman was easily beating Maskaev when Maskaev knocked Rahman out of the ring and out! Maskaev also beat Rahman again.....
