tecnically Jones was right. Rahman was easily beating Maskaev. Rahman was ahead on the cards 68-65, 70-63, 68-65. He was winning the fight convincingly before he was knocked out of the ring. so it's not as if Roy was wrong to say that. Buster Douglas was "easily" beating Tyson, winning every round, but then Tyson landed that huge uppercut out of nowhere and nearly knocked Douglas out. only for Douglas to come back and knock Tyson out. it was still accurate to say Douglas was winning that fight surprisingly easily up until the knockdown out of nowhere.

But was it as bad as when he said that Pac had made all adjustments and Marquez wouldn't KO him again, only for him to get ko'd cold 1 minute later.

Agreed. The guy isn't very articulate anyway and is now suffering from brain damage. Not a guy you'd want in the commentary booth.

 

I usually like Roy's commentary, but he was just awful Saturday. He was riding Bradley's dick all night long. He did that once before on the first ever Boxing After Dark when Kennedy McKinney fought Marco Antonio Barrera. That blew up in his face though as Barrera kicked the **** out of McKinney in the end.

Roy: "This is not Marco Antonio Barrera's fight. This is Kennedy McKinney's fight."

 

In the last 30 seconds of the fight before the KD : "provodnikov is really tired right now" Nothing wrong with having a favorite and i usually like Jones and agree to some extent that Bradley's a nice humble boxer but come on, that was plain ridiculous at times.

It must have something to do with Bradley beating Barker back in the ams.:yep

 

yeah roy had a real bad week thats all . hes usually good . an i dont mind roy being wrong .. which he was cuz he said alot of stupid stuff like provo is gunna tire out. provo cant hurt bradley nemore. but he was being biased 4 both the fights and hes usually never like that. roy is the only legit guy on hbo and showtime should try n steal him. but saturday was bad for him but he will bounce back
