Roy Jones Would Destroy Sonny Liston

And just who buys into the idea of Jones destroying a high caliber opponent anyway? Let alone this guy. All Jones ever did was win decisions when he bothered to fight elite competition. What destructions were there? The only destructions I saw was against 3rd tier opposition.

He could not even destroy a guy like Tarver. Or John Ruiz. A guy like Tua had no problem, how come Jones could not get that A+ result?

 

I take it the angle in this thread is humor. In a real match, Liston via KO.

 

No way Roy Jones beats Sonny Liston. How can you justify it just because he beat John Ruiz. Ruiz isn't even HALF the fighter Liston was. As far as Jones handspeed, that would get nullified by Liston's lethal jab and might even knock Roy Jones out.
