Roy Jones would've been nothing without the juice

    From what I hear they could juice more in the 80s and 90s. Less/worse testing? And you see it for example in how holyfield looked and fought.

    So - with his highlights, RJJ is one of the greatest looking fighters ever, hard to surpass.

    Since I assume most of the top fighters had the same options of juicing (maybe it was easier for privileged boxing countries), he was still the best of his generation.

    But i wonder if following or previous generations had had the same option - would we have more RJJ like fighters?

    SRR on massive juice is hard to imagine.

    It's true roids really help this kind of style.
    He probably would have been a flashy fighter like Haye who failed to really dominate due to vulnerabilities but made some highlights. Haye was of course also roided out of his mind. But not quite as much maybe.
