does he have the most intense workouts ever? how the hell is he 39 and that ripped? anyone, please tell me.
DId you hear Jones curing the breaks? Seems like he just playing the first half but started talking all techniquel in the second half.
This was posted in a book on his routine. Roadwork: (5:30 A.M) Runs 3-5 miles, 5 days a week in the morning. Warm-Up: (12:00 P.M.) touching toes, torso twists, side bends, pushups, full body stretch, bouncing on toes as a warm-up. GymWork: (12:00 P.M.) 4X4 Shadowboxing 4X4 Heavy-Bag 4X4 Speed-Bag 4X4 Double-End Bag 25-Minutes of Jump-Roping 1200 Ab Exercises (4X100 Situps, 4X100 Leg Raises, 4X100 Crunches) After he finishes his workout, he goes out and plays a game of basketball.
His physically blessed. No question about that. To gain that much weight and then loose it is insane.
not really, he clearly used hgh/steroids for the weight gain, once you stop using them and stop weight training, your muscles will atrophy to near before you ever touched a weight, even if calories are kept at maintenance or higher.
Clearly? And how did you "CLEARLY" come to this conclusion? Yes muscles do waste when "NOT IN USE" but you dont simply shrink and there not be a negative effect on your performance when you loose that much musculature. Hormones are not wonder drugs and are certainly augmented by hard works plus genetics.Either way last i looked Jones didnt fail no tests when he fought Ruiz. So you point is wholly invalid.
exactly, its a combination of many things, genetics, hard work ect. but bottom line is that this is a guy who was one of the top 175 lb fighters of all time, so its not surprising that he is in insane shape. same like saying how can Hopkins still compete when he is so old? well he is one of the best middleweights of all time, as Foreman was one of the best heavyweights of all time when he achieved amazing results for a old man
Maybe because he tested positive for steroids after his 2000 fight with hall, as did hall himself, plus I have lots of experience and roys muscle gain to heavyweight was achieved with the use of hormones IMHO.
He didn't fail any drug tests for the John Ruiz fight..so why don't you just shut **** up. Roy Jones is athletically one of the most naturally gifted athletes that has ever stepped inside the ring. Roy Jones was like watching Michael Jordan in a boxing ring. If you understand how drug testing works..you have a A and B sample. You can test positive on the A sample..and then the B sample will be tested on with more test and then t can turn out to be negative. You have lots of experience..in talking ****.
He didnt fight Ruiz in 2000 did he. He fought Ruiz 3 years after that.As for the Steroid accusations there lame. I believe Roy was on Hydrocut which does have some Hormone Precursors in. Hydrocut is for loosing weight. Its certainly not a banned drug nor a performance enhancing one.So stop talking ****.
Hi Dickface, His athletic abilities dont transcend a humans natural ability to gain muscle, most ever recorded for natural muscle gain in a year is around 17 pounds, which would make Roys gains in the amount of time near alien like, want me to post the studies, just let me know.I can show you many ways to mask tests and some short acting drugs which when ceased 2-3 weeks before test wont even need masking. For a man who had no problem using drugs when he didnt need to gain weight do you think he wouldnt use them when needing to gain 20-30 pounds in a short period?Hope this helps
