Roy Levesta Jones, Jr. vs. Anthony Paul Pettis

Jones can be 80 years old and still beat Pettis in a boxing match. Hate that its actually happening, but I guess ill tune in.

 

Heartbreaking tbh. Roy is so much more than this.

 

Roy can't be poor? Surely he has earned enough not to do this.


What's the point? I mean, lets say he comes out and even looks good and wins, so what?


I know some fighters can't let it go but eventually they find a way, Roy needs an intervention.

Jones on points if he still has the stamina. I thought he was gonna die during the Tyson exhib....thought so in the interviews afterwards as well lol. Pettis won't be putting any pressure on him like Tyson though so who knows what he has in the tank.

Not to derail the thread, but does anyone else think Holyfield took a dive vs Belfort? Did Evander even land a single punch? And what was with that big wild, amateurish swing that missed by a country mile that Holy threw?

I'm not the type to yell "fix", but I am very skeptical that the fight was on the up-and-up.

 

Jones has taken some horrific beatings the past decade. I believe he has nothing left and Pettis KOs him.
