    Ok, I know this is pushing the absolute boundaries of being referred to as a "world title" fight, but if it is one, then this must be, by far and away the oldest combined age of fighters in a title fight.

    Wasn't Holmes-Weaver 2 for some senior circuit championship? If that counts (and this is an even bigger stretch of said boundary), then I believe they were a combined 100 or so.

    I've notice the WBA don't have Super Champs at Jr Welterweight, Lightweight, Jr Batamweight, Jr Flyweight and Strawweight.

    I am going to write to them suggesting they fill those vacancies with these fights:

    Jr Welter: Kostya Tszyu v Ricky Hatton II
    Lightweight: Stevie Johnstone v Vivan Harris II
    Jr Bantamweight: Gerry Penalosa v In Joo-Cho III
    Jr Flyweight: Michael Carbajal v Humberto Gonzalez IV
    Strawweight: Ricardo Lopez v Rosendo Alvarez III
