Is he even doing this for money anymore? I mean surely he can't be making much fighting guys like these on these unknown networks.

He could just do some sparring or something if he needs that boxing fix, no need for this.

Even though he's seen MUCH better days, I still thought Roy had what it took to beat most 2nd tier, and 3rd tier CW without any issue. Hell I thought he was floating around somewhere in the top 30-40 area.. Maybe not.

    Round 4

Jones Jr. is carrying his arms low and performing a pantomime oar-rowing motion by his sides, leaving a tempting opening up top, hoping to lure Watkins in so he can blast him with quick unseen counters from below. Watkins is wary, carefully threading his way in after lots of stalking lateral movement replete with directional changes by sticking in a long stiff jab and not falling in behind it. Jones Jr. is caught by a few of these jabs and nearly trapped on the ropes as his head is snapped back. Jones Jr. recovers instantly, bowing deeply and swaying outside before flipping up noodle-armed counters and bopping Watkins on the head around the earmuffs. Watkins starts pounding on Jones Jr.'s guard, assailing him into the ropes, and tags him cleanly on the jaw a few times. Jones Jr. does a boneless shimmy on the ropes designed to make Watkins miss but he doesn't look as slick as intended and is still caught a few times.

10-9 Jones Jr., EXTREMELY close, almost stolen by Watkins

    40-36 Jones Jr.

Often wondered where he would have ranked if he had retired after Tarver 1.

He was at an she where many people do retire, so its not that crazy an idea

I'd assume he makes more from commentary than fighting these days

I love how PBC announcers were clueless why Jones was ring side for Tarver-Cunningham...they thought he came in to support Tarver :rofl

Completely forgetting that he was there for HUCK :patsch

    Round 5

Jones Jr. is doing nothing effective offensively, and only dodging punches by the graces of Watkins' overeager disposition. Jones Jr. is coming dangerously close to getting nailed with hard-pumped double jabs on the chin followed by long axing rights with the full momentum of Watkins rushing in behind them, body turned into the punches. Watkins is walking through all of Jones Jr.'s increasingly fluffy body jabs and is winging in the left hook at the head, pinning Jones Jr.'s gloves to his head with high impact like a billiards cue ball sinking its target into the pocket.

    10-9 Watkins

    49-46 Jones Jr.

If he doesn't wise up and Watkins doesn't punch himself out, this could actually get hairy for the onetime "Superman"... :err:

He needs to do what Mike Tyson did and stop disrespecting the sport.
