According to Dana White's twitter - the next UFC 146 rescheduled fight is Roy Nelson vs Gabriel Gonzaga.
Love it you got 2 heavy handed guys with excellent Jiujitsu among the very best in the Heavyweight divison. Plus these guys "should" bring everything to this fight considering while both have won some big fights neither is a very secure position at the moment. Gonzaga has lost virtually every big fight since his domination over Cro Cop and Nelson is 1-3 in his last 4.
Nelson needs a win badly but dont think he will get it in this one, but on another note has anyone had the matchups thats hes had since coming into the ufc? just constant top fighters (apart from schaub)
Brock Outside of him not really. They are BRUTAL to Roy, which is disgustin considering how decent a guy he is and brave a fighter
Gonzaga has some lousy cardio and apart from the Mir fight, Nelson's is okay. I'll take him to stop Gonzaga.
Gabe is a front running fighter. When the going gets hard for him he folds..that is going to be the Dif in this fight. If Roy just follows Gab around it will be a Easy night for Gab. If Roy and make Gab work...then Roy will take it.
I'd go with that, a TUF winner and the guy who broke Cro cop's leg will bring a crowd. I fancy Nelson to win and I think Nelson is a good fighter for the UFC because he is a durable guy who could be around for the next 5 years if he doesn't get hit in the head to many times.
Gabes a front runner. And Nelson is probably the toughest guy in the UFC. By round 2 or 3 he would have worn Gabe down for a TKO.
