Miocic has proven to be fairly offensively skilled, but very hittable in his past UFC fights. Think Roy can definitely land one of his patented bombs here.

Yes! Miocic is gonna make some noise.

And **** you, Nelson. You wanted a (comptletely undeserved) title-shot and now you're gonna get outclassed by lesser known heavyweight.

Can't escape the image of Stipe getting tagged by Phil De Fries.

Yeah...I'll take Nelson. Miocic is a lot more athletic, but Nelson's timing and power are something else. I really wonder though if the UFC is just going to screw around with Nelson. He really has nothing to gain with this fight. Miocic is a dangerous guy who's coming off a loss and even if Nelson wins it doesn't do much for his resume. I hope he's getting some decent money for this fight.

Yeah, I know. He started with lethargy. But he still turned it right around.

    Happens to the best.

Yeah but it happened to happen against one of the worst UFC HW's in recent memory.

Stipe is good, and has a good shot at winning, but he will definitely have to tighten up his defence, because Roy can put him away with one shot. Hopefully he has improved his cardio, as well.

He definitely has much to improve. But I think his defense has improved much. The way he slipped and parried Struve was wonderful (until getting finished obviously).

I also think Miocic can take Nelson down enough to grind out a decision.

If Moicic can get past Nelson he could be a contender but i dont really see it happening

Nelson is a much better fighter than Miocic he should win by ko if Miocic hasn't improved A LOT. Barnett would be a much better opponent but maybe he doesn't want to fight on short notice

Miocics got a lot of potential hes got good hands and good wrestling which is a good combination for a heavyweight.

He reminds me of Arlovski with his striking to an extent, maybe he can dent Roys chin. I don't think his defense is gonna be good enough tho against the Roy of today.

Roy has arguably the best chin in MMA right now Miocic is not going to ko him. But Nelson has more than enough power to ko Miocic and I'm pretty sure that's going to happen
