I just have a sneaky suspicion Foster would smash Roy up. And that's nothing to do with Roys supposed 'glass chin' (as I don't think he does have a bad chin) just the fact that Foster was a monster at LHW. In fact, I'd go as far to say that Foster would be a match for Charles and Moore....just made for the weight.

Jones was the better fighter though, IMO.

So Pernell for accomplishments, Roy H2H.

If this thread was in the Classic, I think it would be 62-56 the other way.

 

If this was in the Classic, there would probably be less votes but a wider gap than 6 votes for Whitaker.

 

Yeah, you're probably right.

 

All you have to do is look at the quality of the votes. Most of those voting for Jones are no-names or worthless posters (a few exceptions) while the vast majority of the top posters to have voted on the poll have done so for Whitaker. Quality over quantity the way I see it.
