They guy looked half dead, when he was slumped in the corner. The referee seemed to think so, "He's dead Roy, Hes dead" Brutal!
Roy was a certified fruit loop.If PCP was invented back then Roy was defintly on it.He got his ass handed to him by Lenny McLean on a plate though.
Well, Roy actually TKO'd Lenny once before... And got beat in the rematchs. I just read his autobiography and he talks about how he was on drugs and half stoned and couldn't see and thats why he lost.........but I'm not sure if I buy that, I'm sure Lenny and Roy both exaggerrated a little in their books. But Roy started unlicensed boxing at age 42, and only got beat twice, so can't take much away from him. I think generally he was better than Mclean, Mclean lost 6 out of his 12 fights, 4 of those he was knocked spark out. 2 of them in the very 1st round.
