If he does and he wins, he is back in the fold.

Calzaghe will not lose a single round against Jones. Roy should take care of his health and retire, Calzaghe would give him brain damage.

I'm not hating on Roy Jones in any way..I love the guy but the way I see it stepping into the ring with Calzaghe is dangerous as hell.

I'd like to see Jones retire on a high-note. Calzaghe is far too active for him. He threw 1,010 punches against Kessler. By comparison, Jones threw about 550 less against Trinidad.

What about Jones-Hopkins part 2? How do you think this would play out?

    1,010 with no knockdowns.

And it only takes one well-placed, fast punch that you don't see
    to knock you out.

This is a better fight for either Roy or Bernard.

At this stage I would slightly favour Bernard, but it would be interesting.

Calzaghe would have lost to prime Roy, decisively.

    But not at this point.

Thats true but Joe C threw 1000 punches against a guy that loves to exchange and throw alot of punches also, I can almost gaurantee that Joe C will not throw 1,000 punches against Roy or Bernard, there styles would't let it happen,

    anyway JC UD> RJJ

Calzaghe would outbox Jones, beating him to the punch all night and probably stopping him late.

This saying Calzaghe would just blow out Jones is bullcrap. Styles make fights. Fighters match up differently. Aside from Hopkins, Woods or Tarver, Jones is the one to give Calzaghe the most trouble. Roy still has his hand speed which would allow him to match up with Calzaghe nicely. I'm not saying he would necessarily beat Calzaghe - but he has a better chance than most.

Roy should retire and leave on a good note. I do not want to see him lose to a fighter he could of beat pretty convincingly five years ago.
