but i still like to watch his fights with pemberton especially the first one every now and again

 

Roy UD 12. I'd love to see a KO for Roy, then retire with at least something of a positive note.

 

What does this fight prove for RJ? Nothing. What does this fight prove for Sheika? Nothing.

it's a good farewell fight for Roy in that if he wins he goes out on a good note against decent opposition for this stage in his career but the bad thing is if Roy isn't at his best at this age (whi isn't very good but still enough to beat sheika imo) then sheika will win cause sheika's a hard ass worker...no world beater but a stern test for a shot jones and one that would would be a good victory for jones to ride off into the sunset with.

 

You guys REALLY think RJ is going to "ride off into the sunset" if he wins. You know he's going to get that ego going and say that he's back to another world title shot. And he'll probably get a fight with Hopkins and get KOed.

 

Thats what im afraid of ..This version of Hopkins kills Jones now !

Agreed, this is likely just the first step in the wrong direction.

 

Jones must be hanging with Holyfield too much ..Im certain he calls out Hopkins out @ 185 !

 

Yeah, his slurring was bad. I could hardly understand what he was saying. His face looked all ****ed up and swollen too. He just has all the look and sound of a completely shot fighter - far moreso than Roy does.

 

This fight is build up for this summers Bhop V RJJ fight, and it will possibly be the biggest fight in boxing history.

 

I don't think the answer to 'Can Sheika win' is either Roy or Sheika.
