PPV?! WTF? Some people can't say no to the spotlight, I guess. He should beat Sheika with no problem.

Looks like Roy finally found someone more "shot" than himself.

Roy should fight Roberto Duran at 190 instead. That's a better fight.

What the hell? Jones can't stomach getting dominated by Calzaghe, and now goes after someone Calzaghe stopped damn near a decade ago?

This match-up is stupid in the extreme. Meaningless. If what you guys are saying is correct and it's PPV, it had better be on the undercard of an actual, decent, watchable fight.

Maybe if they stick it on the Vitali Klitschko / JCG undercard in some sort of combined broadcast.

The worrying thing is Roy is starting to show signs that the punches have taken their toll over the years.

There really is nothing to gain from fighting on. His legacy is done and dusted. Those who think he was the best, will still do so, those with doubts are unlikely to be convinced by these extra fights: they are surely not going to add to his career and reputation.

The only possible reasons to fight on would be he is addicted: to the game, and maybe the fame.

...or hopefully it's just he doesn't want to go out on a defeat. One last win before calling it a day?

It can't really be considered a PPV event, regardless of what Jones has achieved.
