He has an opinion and you have yours. if he don't agree with yours or if he doesn't see your logic he is fool?

you call that a style....besides pavlik, when the hell was the last time bhop looked impressive....:huh
and i hate excuses, but you can clearly see that pavlik wasn't himself, and even he is pretty limited.....

bhop hasn't found a new style, he just clinches a lot more and fouls too......far from a new style, more of a survival tactic.....

:patsch And Lacy wasnt limited??? You want to drop that excuse but you want me to believe that Roy is back to his old self against a guy that he was favorite to beat? Come on Freddy, you're sounding like a bitter hater now...You even went to lenghts to say that Daniel Santos has better skills than Hopkins...if thats the case why hasnt Santos had better career than Hopkins?

Roy just doenst have it anymore...You're looking to much into this Lacy fight...This is the same Lacy that went life and death with Peter Manfredo Jr. got a gift decision against Tyspoko (however you spell the man's name) a was beaten up by Taylor...You really think Roy will be able to pull that **** off against a guy who's defensive guru?...The only advantage that Roy will have over Hopkins is speed...thats it!

why the hell do people think roy is back. sure he looked great against his last two opponents but he was fighting two C level fighters. roy is shot as sad as that is to here its the truth. any time he steps up to top level opposition hell loose...remember the calzaghe fight.

they both looked good against limited opposition, now when you compare them two skill for skill, roy kills him in that department.....like i said, roy has skills for days while bhop relies on his dirty tactics....

clinching is not a defensive move, it's a dirty style of fighting

b hop isnt nearly as dirty as some of u guys are saying .its not illigal to hit in a clinch its illigal to hit in a clinch after the ref says break, b hop dosent do that. its also not illigal to clinch thats part of boxing. roy jones fans are just sore that b hop turned out to be a better fighter then jones on the long run.

Pavlik must not have been that limited for him to be the favorite. No one thought that Pavlik was going to be made to look like that...It takes skills to make a fighter look like that...Yes, Pavlik may be a little predictable but he's miles ahead of Jeff Lacy...thats a fact you cant deny.

Clinching....Dont fighters clinch all the time to offset one's rythem???

Didnt Shane tie Margorito up?...So do you consider Shane a dirty fighter given that he clinched Margorito?:huh

You're trying to say Hopkins is as limited as Lacy?, I dont mean anything similar to Lacy's style of course just limitations in general.

Hopkins didn't look too bad against Calzaghe, to lose by SD there when Jones lost by clear one-sided UD should prove that he did look okay in that fight, just not good enough to pull off a win. He looked impressive against both Tarver and Wright.

Hopkins has been impressing against guys he fights as the underdog, that's the difference.

The Lacy fight proves nothing really, just like the Trinidad fight proved nothing other than Jones is beyond shot. Don't be deceived by that performance like people were deceived with Jones' domination of Trinidad. A blown up inactive Trinidad gave Jones a far better fight than Lacy did. Against an opponent like that anyone will look good, Jones looked superb against Sheika too.

Now that's some ******ed nonsense, what has Santos done lately?

Be honest, is it because he beat Margarito? :rofl

Santos went life and death with a tomato can quality fighter like Margarito in his first fight at Jr. Middleweight, is there any one-dimensional tomato can quality fighter that gave Hopkins hell in the ring or beat him?. Look what Hopkins did to a one-dimensional fighter like Pavlik and Hopkins was moving DOWN in weight to make the catchweight at 44 years of age.

look at each fighters last three fights b hops; pavlik, calzaghe and wright each of these fighters were all seen as threats in there devision and hopkins was able to beat two of them and take calzaghe to a super close split decision.
now look at jones last fights; calzaghe, sheika and lacy. jones got dominated by calzaghe and sure he beat sheika and lacy but he was supposed to.
in there last three fights roy was fighting the limited opposition while b hop was taking on guys he was supposed to loose to. b hop owns jones.

Exactly, many call it dirty, I call it craftiness and clever boxing (something that is a must if a fighter is going to stay on top past the age of 40).
