    This isn't even a matter of debate.

    RJJ is to a point where he carefully selects mediocre SLOW opposition to create the illusion that he is still a good fighter. He isn't.

    Sure, he still has good reflexes and hand speed, but that wouldn't mean jack **** against an elite level fighter like Hopkins.

    Whenever RJJ has stepped it up against elite opposition, he has been dominated. Hell, even when he's stepped it up against NOT-so-elite opposition like Tarver and Johnson, he was beaten and beaten badly.

    He's **** and he's shot.

    He should be embarrassed for even TAKING the types of fights he's looked okay in. His fight with Trinidad was an absolute farce! Besides that, he is fighting slow fighters with very limited skills.

    He just beat up a shot nobody in Jeff Lacy and now what's he looking to do? Step it up against a big time fighter? No! He's looking to fight Danny ****ing Green! :lol:

    Green is typical of the type of opponent Roy can look good against.

    On the other hand, what's Hopkins doing? Talking of fighting Chad Dawson or Tomasz Adamek--two ELITE fighters in the sport.

    Jones is ****.

    Hopkins would thoroughly outclass him if they fought now, and Jones knows it!

    That's why Jones is avoiding meaningful fights against guys like Adamek, Hopkins, or Dawson--because he knows he'd get beat.

    Instead, he's fighting meaningless fights against the Jeff Lacy's and Danny Green's of the world.

    Roy should be embarrassed.

    look, i aint even trying to compare their last fights (by that logic wouldn't it be a whole lot easier to predict fights..this is boxing and anything can happen)....of course bhop has the better wins, but right now as we type, roy is way more active and has a lot more to offer then bhops "veteran , crafty skills" aka dirty boxing.....bhop cannot continue to do what he's been doing and age along with inactivity will play a huge roll if he were to fight roy jones right now....

    roy was also supposed to get ko'd by tito, and lacy and he dominated both....sure not a huge accomplishment, but considering just a few fights before he wsa laying on his back knocked the **** out is pretty impressive to me....

    man oh man bhop all of a sudden has a fan base...when a few years ago he was mr. old man garbage :lol::lol:

    if bhop takes on adamek, or dawson and atleast puts up a good fight, not a ****en good cheating session, i will give him all the props in the world....but as of right now, just because he's fighting boring ass fights that lead to UD or SD doesn't mean he'll beat roy....roy is fighting solid guys and looking great, while bhop is fighting younger/better fighters and looking boring, slow and dirty... (aside from the pavlik fight where pavlik was sick, went up in weight and lost most of his advantages)

    The exact samething can be said about you man!...If Roy would have never fought this weekend would you have made this thread???

    Just because Roy looked good against Jeff Lacy:)rofl) means he's all of a sudden is suppose to be back to his old self??:lol:

    ROY = a true fighter that would rather fight and lose then try to cheat and win.


    BHOP = an old man that would use any dirty tactics to cruise to a decision and cry about the outcome.

    i was actually waiting for atleast 3 good fights from roy to make this thread......and even when he was ko'd, i never counted him out....somebody like roy can lose a few steps and still be better than a lot of good fighters out there......


    bhops gonna get dealt with and me and you are gonna put a huge amount of cash on it if the fight ever happens :deal:good

    Now Freddy how can you **** on B-hop for trying to plead his case about his losses that were close but you praise Roy, when he's made some of the craziest excuses a fighter can make? I really see you hate B-Hop...Look people like Roy but we're just being realistic...Roy cant **** with Hopkins now.
