Freddy I think you just really hate B-Hop, you need to look at this from an unbiased point of view.

If it was such a terrible display of boxing than how come the fight was so close. Just because you don't like his fighting style does not mean it's not incredibly smart and effective.

That was a great showing from Roy, the best he's looked in years but lets put things into perspective. Jeff Lacy has one plan and that is to walk forward wailing away all night and it played right into Roy's hands, Roy was able to block and slip a lot of the shot's and by using the ropes was able to conserve energy thus being ready to spring into action with some blazing combinations and big left hooks, Smart boxing by Roy and it kinda reminded me of another faded legend's tactics back in Zaire '74.

B-Hop will not present such an easy target as Lacy and won't get fooled into following Jones around the ring all night, While Hopkins can bore people to sleep at times he is a superb defensive fighter and there's no way he'll take the punishment Lacy did. Roy's still has amazing hand speed and at 40 that's some feat but he'll need more mobility to beat Hopkins. Good fight though at this stage they should definitely get it on, it's long over due and at cruiserweight it could make things interesting.

Just to play devils advocate, Why can't Roy execute the same fight plan Calzahge did to beat Hopkins?
