I am serious guys people on here who think calz would have been good enough to be in the same ring as prime roy needs there head checked. Prime jones would have taken calz head off. i respect calz for doing what he has done. 46-0 is some going class boxer but not all time great. and will not be reconized in years to come as an all time great.

Theres Ali, Tyson,Jones,Hopkins,Lenard,Mayweather and the list goes on. but calz never fought bar kessler (who has yet to prove himself) he has no prime fighters on his resume. Even better Hopkins prime is so much better than calz. He has peaked late. They say he is past his best. Nonsone. To me it was prime calz v an old shot 40% of his oldself jones. Carl Froch in Wales for claz last fight would be interesting.

Roy Jones never beat a linear, unified, or undisputed champion in his career. He handpicked opponents, took the path of least resistance and when he did start to fight some good fighters he was either knocked out cold or got his asss handed to him.

We can only go by what happened in the ring.

Jones got knocked out after gaining 25 pound of muscle then losing it. Went down to fight Tarver won his title back but as a personal trainer i can tell you that a athlete like Jones losing that sort of muscle at the age of 35 and trying to regain what he once had was almost impossible. It took its tole he even looks old now due to the up and down weight he went threw. Anyone and i mean anyone who knows anything about boxing knows prime Jones makes Calz look ordinary

I think RJJ beats Calzaghe when both in their prime but if you think it would be completely a one-sided affair, then it is you that knows ****-all about boxing.:deal

We all have opinions mate...nowt wrong with them. Personally, I think Calzaghe's work-rate and unorthodoxy would always give Roy problems. Roy wins but in no way a walkover.

    But that's just my opinion!:D

Roy in his prime would have dodged Joe.

Roy has tainted his legacy by dodging too many people when he was at the top of his game.

Remember, last week, neither were or are in their prime.

There is always some excuse either way, lots of what ifs & maybes... the facts are.... nobody has beat Calzaghe, he is 46-0 & whether you like it or not is an ATG.

Just for the record - I LOVED THE WAY CALZAGHE DID A JONES TO JONES, it was real funny ****, the man is a legend.

    :D

Calzaghe will never be toyed with are you kidding me?

You really think in your heart he would have danced around destroying Joy with ease? Man some people are sooo blinded........
