    better for boxers to fight rather than retire. unretire. fight a 36 year old lightweight. a 38 year old ww. then lost the urge. go on vacation. :rofl

    what do freddie roach and alex ariza gain from saying manny isn't as well trained as he has been for his last 4 fights? Nothing...They're trying to light a fire under manny's ass. They haven't been able to do it personally, so they've been going to the media.

    And why would they keep manny not being prepared a secret? It wouldn't change how the fight plays out...

    I don't believe it really. Anyway, in sparring things can happen which do not happen in fights. Hearns had some tough sparring before Leonard in the rematch and looked great in the fight. Sometimes a tough sparring incident can wake up a fighter who is being a little sloppy in training. So if this happened it could help him by getting him to concentrate.

    in reality this could be the Roach people putting out this information so Margarito hears it and relaxes his training. Remember when Leonard before Hagler would not ever insult Marvin? He didn't want any part of a Hagler which would be pumped up like he was before Hearns since Hearns called Hagler all sorts of insults. Yet the funny thing is, after Hearns fought Hagler you rarely hear him insult Marvin, and Ray is the one who sort of talks about Marvin as though he was limited. Hearns always says Marvin is great.

    How can anyone be surprised with the type of speed Khas has got?

    I personally have my doubts though and believe it's for hype and to draw Mayweather out for a fight.
