    I still remember the buzz when Perez, Collado and Garcia defected to Ireland.

    All had really impressive amateur pedigree.

    Perez made a but of a go at it and at least fought to a high level, despite incredible inactivity.

    Collado never really got above fringe contender/gatekeeper.

    Garcia was probably the most talented but just disappeared a few years ago from boxing when he looked like he was about to make a big run.

    Shelestyuk had excellent potential but has been very poorly managed, being left inactive for long periods of time. Wasted talent.
