    Revisiting this classic MW fight between Carter and Benton and its still an excellent battle that shows good high level boxing and in-fighting. Carter narrowly edges out defensive maestro Benton after 10 rounds although some have argued that Benton's more accurate punches should have gotten him the win.

    Amazing fight. Watched it many times. I've scored it for each man at various times. Definitely Carters best performance. Benton is the most versatile and complete user of the shoulder roll style offense and defense combined

    Fantastic little bout. Carter has so much more skill than most realise.

    I think Rubin KO1 Emile Griffith has to stand as his best.

    Emile was only stopped twice in 112 bouts, the other being by Monzon.

    I don't like him as a person but Carter is great to watch. Major physical presence in the ring, very aggressive and with underrated technical abilities. Benton is Benton and doesn't need any introduction. Awesome bout.
