    Watch hurricaine last night what fantastic film.

    How good was he, his records dosnt sound great but fighters lost alot more in thos days right. Did he really get robbed agaisnt the Italian guy, beating Emile Griffith in 1 round was it a fluke?

    He was not robbed IMO against Giardello. As for Griffith, he stated in one of his books, he was good friends with Emile, and he suggested to Griffith some time before the fight he (Carter) was not quite the fighter he once was, thus Griffith did not give it his all in training and came into the fight over confident...

    Yes, Carrter was as deserving as anyone at the time, comming off his finest run of form in his career.
