Talk about fighting dirty...maybe he should watch the taping. The exchanged elbows, but moreso to create space, dirty yes, but I didn't see anything all that ugly in the fight. But what irked me.......Chavez lands 3 consecutive hard body shots, clean, at worst on the belt, and rubio returns the favor by placing his own well timed body shot to Jr's sack. IMO, it was those low blows that took the steam off Jrs shots and kept Rubio on his feet. I guess that's call smart dirty fighting.:rofl
they seemed intentional and i was shocked no points were docked at least the 2nd time around because then he stopped doing it
We are involve in the outside, these guys know or at least have a better idea than us when it comes to the tricks in boxing. He simply stated they didnt have any doping test which is weird especially for a championship fight. Chavez Jr. was having weight problems thats a fact and also has been suspended before as well. Testing should always be done after the fight.
There were 3 seperate occasions when they were blatantly intentional after consecutive body shots from Jr. All 3 times, Jr had to back off, suck it up for a few, then Rubio would go back at him hoping the low blows had taken their toll.:think
I havent seen the fight yet but 118 - 110 . 116 - 112 . 115 - 113 The 118-110 score is a bit wide for me compared to the other two scores, ill watch the fight when I can but that judge in particular was never going to give rubio a chance
I just laugh when some people say doping in boxing doesnt need any improvements. Props to guys that are willing to take random testings at any time. Boxing should follow in the steps of sports like baseball when it comes to testing.
there was no doping test? for a championship fight? isn't it mandatory? i can't open the video, what's going on?
The Texas Commission just asked Jr. if he had taken anything they needed to know about, he said no, and they just took his word for it
