I'm not a political creature, but this strip club thing will sink him. Even his excuse of being too drunk to remember what happened sucks :yep He's GOOOOOOOOOONE
I wouldnt want someone who hasn't had the experience of getting hammered, making mistakes, being a human being for a while running my country anyways. Anyone who changes their vote because of something like this should probably lose their right to =P
Nah Rudds got most of the media on his side and it'll be spun to show how human and fallible like the rest of us he is,and that he's now an even better bloke. Even though he's a hypocrite who's been portraying himself as a devoted, religious family man ever since he was elected opposition leader when in actual fact he's a drunken fanny rat with a selective memory.
The thing is, Rudd doesn't have the personality to get away with this sort of thing, like Bill Clinton or even Bob Hawke would. People will be happy to condemn him over this, because, instead of coming across as a red-blooded Aussie male, he comes across as a creepy little deviant, especially in light of his excuse of being too drunk to recall the incident.
Good call mate...Bob Hawke was a slut....he slept with my mates wife....but a least he does seem a bit more Aussie than deviate.
What do you mean?......what did he do? If you are asking what did my mate do...well he left his wife...at the time he was the executive producer of channel 9 current affair and she was the presenter. He is half way through a book about it now...not just the affair but the whole channel 9 thing...very interesting story
He isn't ****ed, this smear campaign hasn't worked out as well as everyone though it would. Not many people actually cared that he did it a few years ago. they tried a similar stunt with Latham when they brought up how he attacked a cab driver once, and if I remember correctly, that didn't harm his cause much, though he did sink his own **** later on. However, I do think the election will be closer than I originally thought. After doing a bit of research regarding polls, etc, they're often very inconclusive of how the election will turn out. Labor still has to win over many seats, and that will be a hard task.
