    David Tua hands down.
Razor Ruddock atleast in his most testing fight against one of the ATGs in Mike Tyson, he gave his opponent a real tough fight.
He was probably never the same after Mike brutally shattered his jaw in their second fight.

Ruddock is only overrated by Tyson fans who try to make him look more dangerous than he really was.

Tua is overrated by at least half of this forum.

It is not so much that David Tua is overrated.

It is more that being overrated, has David Tua like qualities.

Many of the claims made for him are outright ridiculous!

I think Tua belongs in more head to head fantasy fights than does Ruddock.

    Might I ask why?

Why would he have a more realistic chance of beating an all time great then Ruddock?

Because he had more professional fights, beat some rated men who were prime and has a better tested chin. Just my opinion

Which rated men did he beat who were prime?

You could just about argue Rahman.

How was his chin more tested?

He went into survival mode against anybody who tested it.

Hasim Rahman was prime and ranked. Ruiz was prime. Not sure he was ranked or not and Tua was one of only two men who stopped him. The other stoppage came at the end of his career. Fres oquendo was undefeated and a prime fringe guy. Daroll Wilson was undefeated and had just sparked Briggs. Tua was never stopped In over 50 fights and only decked once. Ruddock was stopped several times and never beat a prime contender unless phil Jackson was ranked.

Think people do Tua a disservice by saying he’s “overrated”. Beat a couple alphabet champs as well as some other contenders. He became beatable by excellent boxers…but you had to be excellent to beat him.

Yes, but you know what happened.
    Not even close.

    He was a nobody.
So in other words, he only ever beat one world class opponent, and that was by hitting him after the bell.

Pretty damn unimpressive on this forum!
I am not sure whether Ruddock beat a ranked contender, off the top of my head, but his own ranking suggests that he probably did.

So lets say that he didn't.

Neither of them achieved much north of #10, but you could argue that at least Ruddock gave Tyson a competitive fight.
