Most analysts that carefully watch Ruiz vs Parker score it either a draw or a narrow win to Parker.

That includes Mods on this board.

Anyone who thinks it was a "Robbery" has probably not even watched it carefully.

Proves Ruiz got a lucky concussion punch when AJ was careless and they both were stumbling. AJ’s performance for the rest of the fight was due to that one punch alone.

This really chaffs my hide. You've been posting this garbage all over here. One, since the robbery wtf did Parker do with the belt. Yes, he lost it to AJ. Now compare the result of Ruiz. Now who actually deserved the win, lmao. Ruiz ended up getting his belt back. The proper owner of the belt has possession of the belts, so you tossers can go eat it.

Parker struggles to look good. He's game and always in a fight for the distance that he's there. Whoever the opponent.
But if its not a dog fight and he's supposed to assume the agressors' role.... He does so poorly.

Hughie Fury was even more badly robbed than Ruiz against him

    He did watch it again

    And got it right

If you're coming to a fighter's home country, you have to "take" the championship off him

Ruiz failed to do that. He just plodded around after Parker - doing very little

Povetkin was old, yet he did well. If he were 4-5 years younger he might have won.

Parker, if he had half or Ruiz fire might have done the same.

AJ really needs a fight controlling jab, better defense, and clinching ability when hurt. Fouling which he didn't do in this fight, but has when stung, or spitting out his mouth piece to gain extra time, which he did do in this fight, won't help.

The ref gave him too much time. With his aura gone, he's going to need more to win vs. men he can't quickly KO that come to fight.

He resigned for nothing, Parker won the match by a point, although draw or a one point win for Ruiz would have been fine as well. Nothing egregious whatsoever, it was just one of those type of fights.

I wonder why he resigned, though? I do recall Ruiz taking the early rounds and Parker coming back in the latter rounds and the fight being close....

Was an extremely close fight, not sure how anyone could cry robbery. I don’t think Ruiz looked very confident in that fight, maybe because Parker has a good chin and never appeared hurt.

I was pretty shocked by the knockout myself, I had gone in believing Joshua was the numero uno heavyweight. The good side of this is it made me become more interested in the rest of the heavyweight division, instead of being the old-school-to-a-fault enthusiast and mostly just that alone.
