Hunter was offered the bigger half and he refused.

Hearn won the purse bid with $606,666. 60% for Hunter and 40% for Hrgovic.

IBF should remove completely from their rankings the ones who are not interested in fighting for their belt, whats the point?

    Joyce
    Parker
    Kabayel
    Ruiz Jr
    Gassiev maybe

McKean and Zhang should both accept. Hughie will.

Im still gutted IBF denied Yoka the oportunity. They should at least give team Yoka and Hrgovic the option to sort something out. Imagine a 4 men tournament:
    Yoka x Bakole
    Hrgovic x Zhang
Winners meet up for the mandatory shot. Exciting I'd say

The IBF belt is stuck with the rematch and the undisputed fights this year, it would be a great way of keeping the fighters active and making the mandatory legit and deserving.

Ah no worries. I'm usually working or doing other things so I type very quickly and will sometimes have spelling or grammer errors.
I do edit then afterwards when I notice them I just don't always see them when I post.
    No offense taken.
    Take it easy.

I did not understand some of this but I thank you for your graceward ways and means. When I come to Grammer and see your local police, I will assume that they are...not to be trifled upon. But we could perhaps have takeout, maybe Jewish or Chinese. Eat outside, on a campground or something, 'round a fire.

To be fair to Gassiev he's coming off a long injury lay off and would probably want an easier opponent,.

Ruiz , like alot of heavyweights, just doesn't seem to want to fight.

Like others have said enough's enough. Just make Hrgovic the mandatory already.

    Nothing is a "100% certainty"

Rematch clauses and possible undisputed fights take precedence over mandatories. Even if some guy fights and beats Hrgovic , they may not be any closer to a title shot as Whyte was two years ago. They know its not as simple as - beat this guy and get a guaranteed title shot.

There's other guys who have a mandatory claim too like Joe Joyce. He beat far better opponents than Hrgovic , is pushing 40 and is still nowhere near a title shot despite being made mandatory challenger last year.. Nobody seems to care about Joe Joyce being frozen out.

The fact of the matter is nobody is going to take the lower % of a small purse to fight a guy with a Nathan Gorman / Daniel Dubois level resume.

The IBF can be blamed for that. They should have a 50-50 split for finial eliminators. And if Hrgovic wants to fight a big name and former Unified Champ like Ruiz , he should be prepared to take the lower end of the split. Because Ruiz doesn't need to box his way up the ranks anymore. He's been there and done that already

Hrgovic has had his merry band of haters since before he even turned over. Weird because he's a nice guy and unlike many of the cherrypicking chickens they worship at the altar of he wants to fight the best and is willing to travel. No one's ducking him but they've had to go through the IBF rankings at least three times now and only one fighter has agreed to step down to the plate, an Olympic gold medalist and star in his homeland France Yoka who was willing to take the smaller cut as was Hrgovic ($242,666.40) against Hunter ($363999.60) just like Hrgovic was vs all the other fighters who were ranked above him by the IBF the first, second and third time they went through the rankings. Apparently everyone wants a title shot but no one wants a guaranteed one beating a bum like Hrgovic who should be light work for them. Zhang said he wants the fight so lets see what happens.

That’s peanuts. Eddie pays that for the fourth fight down the undercard. No wonder nobody wants it.
