I would have had nothing against Haye FIGHTING Wlad, Vitali or even Valuev. Ever. However, SHUT UP talking about fighting and trashing said same fighters, but actually FIGHT. Anyone.

I have something against that sucker TALKING about fighting all of those, while trashing them all as "bums" with every chance he gets, and then PULLING OUT of each and any meaningful fight, over money. He did this with no less than at least 4 other fighters when finally picking Barrett as the most shot of the bunch he was negotiating with all in parallel, he did that with Wlad, he did that with Vitali, and finally with Valuev, ignoring other promoters and fighters word on that before he would have a shot. And his stupid trasheating fans applauding every ***** con move he pulls out of his ass, STILL talking and bitching like a fish market woman non-stop.

    Ruiz won't fight Valuev.....

Everyone is forgetting that the WBA still have 2 WBA World Heavyweight championships vacant! :yep

Ruiz will fight someone for the vacant regular or interim championship.....:deal

Exactly. It is beyond pathetic that ANY true fan of this sport would applaud Ruiz getting yet ANOTHER undeserved title shot.:barf

Ruiz's entire career is a testimony to boxing corruption. And boxing fans, and his opponents, have been cheated along the way, and the sport demeaned by having this talentless fraud holding one of the HW belts. And yet, some boxing fans want MORE of this crap??? Amazing!:patsch

People are not cheering at the prospect of Ruiz fighting Valuev. That's a straw man right there.

They are cheering because of the impact it is having on David Haye. He is being taught the hard way that he is not God and that the world does not revolve around him. His career over the last year or so has reminded me of "the emperors new clothes" where he has been providing nothing but hype and nothing coming close to substance - and hoping that he can fool enough gullible people along the way. What a shame that he appears to be correct about how easy it is to fool people!

Now it seems as though his smoke and mirrors act is backfiring on him. And it seems that people like that.

Ruiz vs Valuev = who cares yawnfest.
David Haye being taken humiliated and put in his place = wonderful.

Maybe now he can take the advice Wladimir gave him and go to the back of the line.
The really amusing thing is - if he had of spent the year fighting a couple of contenders instead of trying to be a con artist he may have legitimately earned a spot at a title shot. He would have more money in his pocket too...
He is still young, he has plenty of time to prove himself (I think he can forget about retiring by age 30). He just needs to stop the con-act and actually fight.
