In a world where Al Haymon listens to Eddie Hearn and makes it easy sure. No one is disputing the rematch. Nothing stopping Ruiz from getting injured and stalling ajs career continually. Nothing stopping Ruiz from beating aj in the rematch and earning average money thereafter. Remember Wilder had a rematch clause with Fury. Look how that went. Fool.

Are you dizzy. Wilder and Fury was on and Fury the challenger declined the fight.

How in anyway is that even the same situation when what we have here is the ex champion exercising his clause for a rematch.

It doesn't matter if Ruiz gets injured all we know is his next fight will be vs AJ. When is to be decided but that's his next fight.

Trying to draw up some bizarre scenarios where Ruiz is plotting to get out of the rematch is just odd.

Are you dizzy. The champion is demanding 50ml to fighting the UK. No venue is confirmed. He is stating 50ml to fight in the UK. Eddie Hearn said about everybody saying they need more money to fight AJ that the belts hold a value. My point was that Eddie Hearn now should honour his word and give ruiz the right money to challenge for his belts. Then you put on your captian ****ing obvious cape and state there was a rematch clause in the contract. Well no **** if I didn't know that I wouldn't be commenting on this post would I. Go watch an hour long interview with Eddie Hearn and drink your own spunk moron.

How many times does one need to say the figures for the rematch would have been sorted when the terms for the first fight was signed. The idea that for arguments sake figure of $12 mil was agreed to Ruiz for a rematch are we supposed to believe this can be negotiated on depending on the venue? I've also got a bridge to sell you.

Ruiz is simply playing the game but his team and AJ's team will be sorting the rematch out as per the terms both teams already agreed too.

Let's see if Eddie agrees with you or if he negotiates terms of the rematch.

I've capped it so hopefully, he will vanish in a puff of smoke like his fellow shill pal Hayers when the reality hits that the AJ party and all it entails is well and truly over.

.... What kind of bridge? Is it a portable one.
It's all well and good you telling me something which may or may not be on the contract.
If it was set in stone and as easy as you are making out then the rematch would be agreed already and the venue would be set. The truth is a rematch clause is merely a safety net. The 2 will fight again and I haven't disputed that. You seem to think I posted saying Ruiz won't take the rematch. Ive stated he can get out of it and be an awkward bugger. If the two teams didn't have to agree terms the fight would already be made. As it all would have been agreed in the rematch. If you have literally sat and read the contract fair play to you I doubt Andy has even done that. If not do not argue with the history of the sport. Rematches don't always happen and American promoters are out to mess Hearn up. Do not be surprised if this fight doesn't get made as easy as you appear to think it will.

I agree with that but I don't think the venue will be a huge contentious point. It's been a week which is nothing when we are looking at a November fight.

I heard he will accept the 10m in the contract plus a lifetime supply of Snickers bars, which is really 20m.

Totally agree and sorry for telling you to drink your own spunk. A week is nothing and I agree with you on that. I also don't think the rematch will be too difficult to agree I was just presenting possibilities but I give total props too Ruiz for playing his card and giving AJ Hearn a taste of their own medicine. Good day kind sir

It did work for Lewis with Rahman, but the reasons Lewis cited that were used in determining the ruling aren't really applicable in the situation with AJ. But more recently, Chad Dawson was stuck waiting on the sidelines as he watched Hopkins and Pascal battle it out twice.

I still think it's one of those things where there is no standard, no consistency, etc.

Ruiz has no card he has an agreed to contract already in the rematch clause which maybe he gets a little more if Hearn weants the fight sooner and less bickering but Ruiz has no say in financials or place of where it goes...

I swear, did everyone take THICK pills today ( not below the waste ones )..lol

Thinking about it, you're right. Lewis was claiming that his prime was slipping away and cited his age as a factor. AJ is under thirty so this wouldn't apply to him.

It’s a contract. None of knows what’s in it. Contracts get enforced or tested in court all the time - if there’s any difference of interpretation then that could still happen.

My money’s on a US return fight because Joshua will risk his reputation to stay relevant in that market. Home advantage doesn’t really matter any more.
