It doesn't matter what Bob Arum did. Fury was contracted to face Wilder. These are the facts. You're arguing from a subjective perspective
So no answer then. I'll try to ask it one more time because you are ducking the question like Fury is ducking opponents: Hearn and Joshua kept chasing Fury for a fight all through 2018. Joshua was the unbeaten unified champion back then and the biggest draw in HW boxing. Instead of signing to fight him, Fury went on to sign with ESPN, the rival network of DAZN where Joshua was signed, making a Joshua-Fury bout pretty much impossible to happen from that point on. Why? How is that not a duck from Fury?
All you do is cry about Fury Nobody mentioned Fury until you quoted me. You show nothing but asinine behavior everytime I post on this Forum. Stop tagging me. Fury was just coming out of his retirement in 2017/2018 and looking for easy tune ups. Just like aj's doing now, fighting nobodies. That's why he chose to take lesser fights https://www.boxingnews24.com/2022/01/eddie-hearn-admits-that-hed-signed-tyson-fury/ Don't act like Hearn isn't to blame to
Lol, what kind of BS is that? What an absolute gaslighter you are, a true Fury fanboy. Two things: 1) Fury was NOT just fresh out of his "sabbatical". His signing to the ESPN (hence ducking Joshua) happened in February 2019. He returned back to training a year earlier, early 2018 and had already fought THREE times by that point, including a title fight against Wilder. So he was just trying to get back in shape, looking for tune-ups - but then fights Wilder? And not Joshua, the hypejob? Are you actually that dumb to make that "argument"? 2) Even if it was true that he was just about to make a comeback (once again: it is NOT true, but just for the sake of argument - even if it was), how is that not a duck? He was presented with the opportunity to fight the reigning unified champion for the biggest payday of his life, and he didn't go for it. Under any circumstances, how on Earth is that not a duck? You are unable to answer a simple question. I understand though - you know perfectly well that Fury ducked Joshua in 2019 - you just don't want to admit it publicly. It's okay, mate. Your swerving the question with made-up BS like that (Fury was looking for easy "get-back-into-the-ring fights" in February 2019 even though he had already fought Wilder two months before that, lol) is a good enough answer in itself.
In 2019 he signed to ESPN to pursue a Wilder rematch. By the end of 2019 it was already confirmed by Warren that they set up a trilogy, and this was before the first rematch was signed. He went the Wilder route instead of the aj route to get the WBC belt, which is the only belt he hadn't won yet. I don't consider that ducking anyone Please stop tagging me about Fury. It is getting ridiculous. You're getting off the topic of the thread anyway. It is pretty childish
You are still swerving around the question and it's getting boring. Everyone following our exchange can see now what you are about. So Fury pursued a Wilder rematch. Lol, why? He kept talking about Joshua this, Joshua that, and taking back all his belts that was rightfully his even during his "sabbatical". Joshua was also the bigger pay day. Still, Fury went for a Wilder rematch instead of facing Joshua for all the marbles and a bigger pay day. Why? He also talked about that he beat Wilder and everyone knew it (which was true) so there would be no need to face Wilder again. He said this right before signing with ESPN to duck Joshua. Twist it how you want, that's what happened and you know it too. You provided the most ridiculous, illogical and outright fabricated "explanations" about this question so let's leave it at that.
I mean if Ruiz is a liar, Wilder and his fake trainer can expose him fast. Aka showing there was a contract.
You're lying. I answered you're question. He went the Wilder route. He never ducked aj. You keep blabbing on about this and that. Where's the evidence. It's absurd how you derail the topic and then talk about something you don't have a clue about Wheres the proof of this ? In 2019 he said the complete opposite. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/0...-wilder-about-lawsuit-if-he-doesnt-fight-him/ https://www.*****.net/2019/01/04/frank-warren-wilder-versus-fury-two/ Warren says here even before FEBRUARY 2019 that he had ongoing talks to make the rematch happen. So no he didn't duck ****. He already planned to face Wilder again and get the WBC Belt. Even in 2018, Warren was looking for the rematch https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.th...ay-wilder-rematch-wembley-boxing-frank-warren
Wilder would destroy him Fury would KO him late Usyk would box him into submission AJ would slow cook him to a late TKO or UD So what is chubby talking about again????
All you do is talk about Fury. Fury this Fury that. Nobody even mentioned Fury until you showed up. You talk about nothing else on this forum, so you continuously referring to me as a Fury gaslighter is beyond ironic, because you won't shut up about Fury Look at your own post history. It's in every piece of the profile day by day. You hop on the forum, and then complain for hours about Fury, nothing else.
Ortiz did the same to Wilder in both of their fights & was shutting Wilder out in the 2nd fight before he got bailed out by his power.
At this point, I'm not sure you don't have any intellectual problems. By going the Wilder route, Fury ducked Joshua. You still can't answer a simple question: why didn't he fight Joshua instead of Wilder? Why go for a Wilder rematch when "his belts" (as he put it) were at Joshua, the money was at the Joshua bout and Fury always talked about how it was important to settle the "Battle of the Brits" as to who is the best British HW today. Still, despite all this and despite Hearn and Joshua chasing him throughout, he signed with ESPN to go down the Wilder route. Answer finally instead of beating around the bush: why? Why go after Wilder when Joshua is there, the belts are there, and the money is there? The answer is obvious: he didn't want the smoke. Once again: you know this too, you just don't want to admit that in true Fury fan gaslighting fashion. "you continuously referring to me as a Fury gaslighter is beyond ironic, because you won't shut up about Fury" What? Do you even know what the word gaslighter means? You can't answer a simple question and claim how Fury in February 2019 was still looking for tune-ups - two months after fighting for the WBC belt with Wilder DDDD What a weak attempt from you to try to divert the attention from what is probably the most laughable and lame answer to a simple question. Shame there are no signatures on this site, I would surely use it. But I did the next best thing: your wisdom will be honoured on my profile from now on.
I already answered your question Warren had already planned a Wilder rematch even before February 2019, so your point is moot. He went the Wilder route in 2018 for the WBC belt and stayed on it What you haven't done is give a shroud of evidence. Stop dodging the question. At wheat point did Fury say what you claim he did in regards to ESPN. Where's the proof.
