I concur that he should have finished him in the opener - he got a bit overexcited after almost having him out early, I think - but I think it was a satisfactory night all-in-all. I must admit though, I thought for a split-second that the first KD was going to end it all when I saw Ruiz go down so rigidly....

 

You are an absolute ******. It was nothing like the abraham dirrell punch. Go rewatch AA vs Dirrell and then realize that they are nothing alike

 

Yeah, if Dirrell didn't collapse like he did, AA would have gotten a point deduction and probably would have KO'ed Dirrell in the next round.

 

Seeing that it didn`t look like the last punch actually landed on the back of his head in the first rd,it was Ruiz surviving and it looked like he just went over,but Haye got a point off,so,scar whos on here is the sillyist wankstain on this forum.

Thanks for the vid. Great 1-2 connect to drop Ruiz. Haye stuck him right on the money, and he might've KOed Ruiz right then and there if it wasn't for Ruiz getting a bit of extra to to recuperate after those rabbit punches. A damn shame because a 1st round KO by Haye would've sent shockwaves through the heavyweight division.

I still don't like how reckless Haye can be with his offense though... and he should at the very least keep him ****ing hands up a little. He's just begging to be cracked with a hard counter with his hands low like that.
