Andy Ruiz Jr. is a fighting man though, so I won't be surprised if he goes over to the UK and smashes Joshua up there as well.
Honestly, the real questions surrounding what happens next, are all around whether Joshua actually does take up the rematch clause. I have my doubts.

I figure Hearn will have many more contacts and much more oversight of the event in the UK. Imagine the Parker ref in a US fight for instance, the crowd would have turned quickly IMO.

It does not matter where the rematch will be held. Andy "Keg Belley" will KTFO AJ again.

Precisely - he could pull that off with Miller because he's from New York. Ruiz is a Mexican/American based in California. I'd be surprised if his supporters were even 10% of the crowd.

Ruiz was a stand-in, fighting away from home.. and won the fight. His bravery should be rewarded by giving him the rematch somewhere he can get the recognition he deserves.

If Joshua is as good as Hearn and Matchroom would have us believe, they wouldn't be scared of being the 'away' fighter..

You figure based on what? Just the location?
And oversight doesn't mean he has more control or any control. I get it if the U.K. were more like say Vegas, which likes to appoint their own officials, or at least more local ones.
But when you look at Joshuas track record, it's been as neutral as it comes.

And since when has a ref changed his actions based on the crowd? Mares-Agbeko comes to mind. Russell Mora did not give a **** that night.

Right move. Ruiz will have mental edge in this fight anyway because of outcome of the first fight.

Ruiz Jr earned the right to fight in Mexico. Eddie Hearn tried to give it the big man in USA and it did not work. He flew back to the UK with his tail between his legs. AJ is most likely in his mansion with a cold flannel on his head for concussion. Heavyweight championship fight in Mexico? Imagine the buzz from that. What a moment in boxing history.

Who wants to see another Heavyweight clash in Wembley? Boring.

Andy has no need to conquer the UK.

Next fight is in Mexico City
