When is Ruiz fighting??? and jeez how old is he know?? seems like he's been around forever, he seems like a cool cat, he dosen't brag on himself, throw wads of cash around or wear an insane amout of bling, just an ordinary guy, and you have to give him credit for fighting anyone, and with the exception of the Tua fight he has always been competitive..:hat If he fight's Mccline i make it 50-50 Mccline always seems to come up short in the end..
There was a time Ruiz bloated up, which kind of makes me think he was past prime...during the Oquendo-Golota fights he was 240 and couldnt go 12 rounds well. Although when he's in shape, he fights pretty damn hard for 12 rounds, as far as HW's go.
I heard from his last fight he has a new style, he's more aggressive. Can anyone confirm this? Also, I know everyone likes to bag on him and I admit I've done my fair share of criticizing him, but look at Ruiz's resume...he's fought EVERYONE from Holyfield to Lewis. He fears no one.
I can confirm that. His fight with Chagaev was pretty exciting and both spent most of their times in the trenches for the first 8 rounds or so, after which Ruiz tired, but still good action. Maybe he thought they gave Valuev the decision because he fights boring, i don't know. By the way, is that a young Dave Mustaine?
Oh boy...even the WBC can't be that stupid, can they...? Their title situation is in a quagmire as it is, without potential two #1 contenders and an 'Emeritus Champion' floating around. What're they gonna do, a 4-man battle royal?
I'm warming up my Chuck Mangione records as we speak. I'll be playing "Feels so Good" while watching that fight.
thanks. I read an interview with him where he said he's giving it one last run and he's changed his style and he's a different guy. I think it's definately good for him if that is the case and indeed some people have said so. Yup, you know your megadeth. I got the avatar from their website. The picture is pretty bad ass in its original size and is from the Killing Is My Business Era. http://www.megadeth.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=3569
I think that Ruiz and Mc Cline are likable guys. I am rooting for Mc Cline though because he's a more exciting fighter.
Oh yeah me too. Problem is, a few years ago they'd have to retire, becase the young hungry up and comers would smash them. Now - they beat the young guys.... :? So why should they retire?
Ruiz is going to out work McCline and win a UD. Ruiz might taste some canvass though; but the Quietman will get up and win.
