Does Ruiz still have that insanely annoying trainer in the corner who screams at everyone? Watching that guy go nuts was more entertaining than watching Ruiz fight.

Norman Stone? Ruiz got rid of him. Apparently since he's replaced him he's gone back to a more fan friendly fighting style.

The gym Stone works at is like 20 minutes away from my house. I should go in there and give him **** hahaha. "YOUR IN THE BAG. NOW I KNOW" I might have to watch the Roy Jones Jr. fight again. It was hillarious when Lampley and Co. were bitching and said they were glad with Ruiz's loss they wouldn't have to see Stone again.

Yes he did, but you never know.......

Ruiz used to be a good boxer early in his career, he can box, or could, but he got involved with his WWF style.

I know the WWF style sucked and it made people boo him....but it did bring victories at the end of the day.

Been busy. But not to busy to nearly puke all over my computer screen reading these amnesiac "boxing fans" praising of Ruiz. Apparently they have forgotten how he "won" his title by faking a "low blow" against Holyfield - a stunt he'd pulled before to "win" fights - or how he repeated it to get a bogus DQ against Kirk Johnson.

Maybe they've forgetten how Ruiz violated the rules against excessive holding in EVERY fight he ever "won" against a world class fighter.

Maybe they've forgotten what a WHINER Ruiz always was, issuing letters threatening the fans he was coming back after we all celebrated his post-Toney fight retirement.

Clearly, they have forgotten what an UTTER FRAUD and DISGRACE this talentless, cheating clubfighter was to the sport of boxing!:fire

That was a great time.. i heard that song about Russian Roullette again the other day. A masterpiece. I like the lyrics, too. He couldn't sing but he sure could write. :yep

Haven't seen any, unfortunately. I would've liked to see him in his pimp outfit again.

I was amazed when i read that Jameel came in just under 270 pounds..

A big man just can't move properly with all of that bulk..

Its solid but weighty... 250 or less is where McCline is better..

Hard to believ that Ruiz started his career weighing 184. Of course he was only 20 years old. Donavon Ruddock was even more unbelievable starting his career at 183.
