Will Ruiz follow the footsteps of guys like Liston and Ali?

Or will Joshua follow the footsteps of guys like Patterson and Lewis?

    What do you think?

My 2 cents for what it's worth.

I can see this being like Wlad vs Peter 1. Joshua fighting from range but being knocked down at some point, maybe even multiple times and clinging on for dear life.

    Joshua wins by decision barely.

    I really don't know.

It's very interesting. I hope both show up motivated and in their best shape.

I pick Joshua by UD. I think he will make the right adjustments for the rematch.

AJ looked done mentally...should have taken a couple of light fights and gotten a new trainer. Although I like that he dropped a lot of the excess muscle. Ruiz by second round KO

Ruiz by KO. Joshua is too stiff and non adaptive to make the necessary adjustments in time.

Joshua really should win this one, if he doesn't I can't see where else he can go. Lol Whats betting Wilder gives AJ an instant shot if Ruiz kos him fast again?!
I'll predict AJ by a late KO after being downed at least once.

I think Joshua is 3-4 rounds. Think Ruiz has lost the boxing hunger (he still has hunger) and has been riding his 15 minutes and it’s gotten to his head. I think Joshua will be focused enough to not make mistakes.

I think Fury and Usyk would beat both on the same night.

I got Ruiz by KO in 9, Joshua will try and make the necessary adjustments, he'll just fail to keep himself on the defensive all night against Ruiz.
For me the game plan Ruiz used on June 1st would beat any Joshua. He's not good enough to avoid those body shots all night, and clinching isn't gonna stop them from getting in. His jab could give Ruiz fits and him fighting on the defensive will give him more rounds and will probably help his stamina but I think Ruiz catches up to him and gets the KO

I don't know is a good answer here, I expect Joshua to treat Ruiz like he's got the clap and stay away as much as possible, but if Ruiz makes it to the 8th round then the low fuel light on Joshua's dashboard starts blinking and as George Crowcroft said , Ruiz stops him in 9, maybe 10 or 11 but he stops him

Joshua's biggest problem going into the fight was psychological. He's actually been that way for the past few fights, it only manifested Ruiz but it was clear as far back as the Parker fight Joshua was surprisingly tactical almost to the point of indifference about a knockout.

He seemed happy to win and almost unconcerned about looking good in the process.

He needed to face his fear of the knockout loss. I think he beats Ruiz by KO.

My money is on Ruiz, honestly can go either way, and I do think Joshua is going to be a tougher opponent for Ruiz in this fight than he was in their last encounter. Anthony can crack and can hurt ruiz, but Ruiz hand speed and ability to take a punch better than Anthony give him the advantage here.

My brain says Joshua is gonna run and hug and jab Ruiz and win a close decision that he would've lost in say, the 1910s.

But my heart wants to see Ruiz win. And my heart is usually right when it comes to boxing
