Video surfaced of a 16 yr old Andy Ruiz Jr. sparring UFC heavy vet Andrei Alrovski and may or may not have "dropped" Andrei, could have been alittle slip as well. But anyways, you never put out sparring videos to the public. Not a cool thing to do. Gym wars are sacred and should be kept there. What ever happens in the gym stays in the gym. Anybody disagree or can make an argument for what Andy did?

He also commits the sin of gluttony.

And as we know, 'nice Andy' isn't as nice as he really seemed.

As a fan I enjoy seeing sparring sessions, but I understand what you're saying. Some guys have been in camp and reach their peak and then beat the brakes off someone who is coming in cold. Like Spadafora putting it on Mayweather in that famous clip. It really isnt a good indication of what would happen and doesnt tell you much but people still read into it a lot.

Not a defence but the guy's got so little to cling to. He was a five minute champion who beat the champion on his worst night then squandered it all through immaturity and lack of discipline. Only places he can find that glory again is in reminiscing about 'that time I beat Anthony Joshua' or those times he totally beat whoever during sparring

Dude that video has been around forever. Don't think he was the one who originally posted it.

A 16 y/o sparring the then UFC champ? C'mon, I'd put that out if I was him. Wouldn't be slapping copyright on it anyway.

I find many comments amusing about Andy Ruiz, like that time he finished mitt work and when he said ty it sounded like special needs (not saying there's anything wrong with that) then the Stallone comment where he said Andy was the chubby kid that you buy icecream for, long arms short torso, etc. Then when Sergio Mora said he had victorious on his back then not the sharpest tool in the shed brian Kenny said "but on his trunks it says destroyer" or something.

How is that any different from most fighters out there?

The difference is that his one moment likely dwarfs theirs. And he was/is a top 10 HW off and on for most over the years.

    Never said it was.
Mike Tyson said that Buster Douglas beating him gave Douglas a story he could tell for the rest of his life.

Andy Ruiz Jr is a disgraceful filth who should just disappear from the face of boxing. This piece of filth has no respect for the sport of boxing, so as such, he should be treated like a piece of dirt and nothing more than that.

Hopefully someone comes in and literally puts this guy into a frenzy state so he can never return to boxing again. Anthony Joshua lacked power in his punches to do so. So I'm hoping a true puncher puts him away and incapacitates him out of boxing permanently.
